Cotton sure can throw

Dulles QB Cotton Turner continued his aerial assault Friday night with 425 yards passing in a 41-14 win over Willowridge. Turner hit Darryl Stonum on 3 TD passes. Stonum led the receiving corp with 202 yards.

Lamar Consolidated passes the test
Lamar Consolidated got to see the air attack of Montgomery QB Xavier Webb on Friday night. Consolidated passed the test by holding Webb to a season low 195 yards in a 28-0 shutout. Jacquizz Rodgers had three of the four scores and finished with 213 yards on 33 totes.

Who let the Dogs out???
LaPorte (1-2) trailed Baytown Sterling 31-6 in the 3rd quarter and with early season losses to Clear Lake and LaMarque -- it was enough for the Bulldogs. QB Boogie Anagnostou with 248 yards passing rallied the Dogs with 33 second half points to defeat the Rangers 39-31 at Stallworth Stadium.

Michael Goodnight sweet dreams
Westside (2-1) junior QB Michael Goodnight had a hand in four scores and had 319 passing in a nail biting 43-42 victory over Elsik. Michael Goodnight looked to Alonzo Adams for 174 yards. The Rams (0-3) were keyed by the play of RB Jeremy Hills. Hills had four touchdowns and rushed for 209 yards in 27 carries.
